About Gemsme
The people behind Gemsme design everyday jewelry set with cubic zirconia and plated in 18K gold. We started in 2017 with one tennis bracelet, and we still grow the range the same way.
It starts with one bracelet
Our first design was a 3mm tennis bracelet with a box clasp. We wore test versions for a week before we released it. We opened and closed the clasp with one hand, slept in it by accident and caught it on a sweater. The clasp that survived that week is the clasp most of our tennis bracelets still use.
Today the range runs from a 2mm bracelet you can stack three deep to a 7mm one that stands on its own. The idea has not changed. It should look like more than it costs, and it should close on the first try.
Earrings in sets, because ears differ
Some people wear one stud in each ear. Some wear three. That is why Gemsme studs mostly come as sets, five or six pairs graduated in size, with the posts and backs named so you know what touches your skin.
Where the post is 925 sterling silver or 316L surgical steel, we say so on the piece. If your ears react to some metals, that line is the one to read first.
Rings made to stack and to stand in
Our eternity bands are thin enough to wear two or three together, and our bridal sets pair a band with an engagement ring in one box. People buy them for a wedding, a vow renewal or a trip where the real ring stays home.
They are plated brass or sterling with cubic zirconia. They are not heirlooms, and we will not call them that. They are rings you can wear without worrying where you put them down.
Necklaces measured in inches
A necklace length changes everything. Sixteen inches sits at the base of the neck, twenty drops below the collarbone. So every Gemsme necklace lists its lengths in inches, and our size guide shows where each one falls.
If you are not sure, measure a necklace you already own and match the number. That one step saves more returns than any description we could write.
What we will tell you, and what we will not
Each Gemsme design names its stone, its plating and, where we know it, the base metal and post. We do not call cubic zirconia diamond, and we do not call gold plate gold. The Federal Trade Commission asks jewelers to name a plating with its karat, and we follow that on every page.
We will not promise a piece lasts forever. Plating wears. What we can promise is that the description matches the piece.

If a piece is out of stock with the partner, it leaves our range until it comes back. That keeps every button on the site pointing at something you can buy.

3mm Square Halo Tennis Bracelet

| Stone | Gemsme pieces | Mohs hardness | What to know |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cubic zirconia | 128 | 8.5 | Lab-made and bright. It scratches more easily than diamond, and a clear stone can yellow over the years. |
| Moissanite | 2 | 9.25 | Lab-grown silicon carbide. Harder than CZ and shows more fire, which some people notice as rainbow flashes. |
| Created opal | 5 | Not rated here | Grown, not mined. Softer than the stones above, so keep it away from knocks and hard cleaners. |
| Larimar | 5 | Not rated here | A natural blue stone from the Dominican Republic. Each one is patterned differently, and it is soft, so treat it gently. |
