The Gemsme size guide

How to measure a wrist, a neck and a finger, and what a stone size looks like, with the lengths and sizes we make counted from the 149 pieces in the range.

Bracelets: measure, then add half an inch

Tennis bracelets sit best with a little room to move. Too tight and the clasp rubs, too loose and the bracelet slides onto the hand.

  1. Wrap a soft tapeAround the wrist bone, where a watch strap sits. No tape? A strip of paper and a ruler work.
  2. Read it snugSnug, not tight. That number is your wrist size.
  3. Add half an inchAdd 1/2 to 3/4 inch for a tennis bracelet that moves a little without sliding over the hand.
Three steps before you pick a length.

Every tennis bracelet length we make

The table counts every Gemsme tennis bracelet by the lengths it comes in. Most wrists wear the 7 inch.

Stone sizes, drawn to scale

A 2mm stone reads as a fine line of light. A 5mm stone reads as a bracelet you notice across a table. If you plan to stack, stay at 3mm or under.

  • 2 mm5 tennis bracelets
  • 3 mm14 tennis bracelets
  • 4 mm12 tennis bracelets
  • 5 mm14 tennis bracelets
  • 6 mm3 tennis bracelets
Stone sizes drawn to one scale. Counts are Gemsme tennis bracelets offered in that stone size.

Rings: US sizes 5 to 10

Our rings follow US ring sizes, and each ring lists every size it comes in. Wrap a strip of paper around your finger where the ring will sit, mark the overlap and measure it in millimeters. Then match it to a US size chart, or ask a jeweler to size you in person.

Fingers swell in the heat and shrink in the cold. Measure in the evening, when they are at their largest.
